The Ilana Efrati Catalog of 1997/8 explored the common prejudices and preconceptions women have about fashion and body image. The catalog includes a series of images inspired by real phrases said by clients when trying outfits at the studio, such as 'it makes me look fat', 'is it modern now?', or 'this color does nothing for me'. The subtle and satiric compositions offer a comment on the way women think about themselves and about fashion.
