המעצבת אילנה אפרתי מציעה חוויה יחודית של שיטוט דימיוני ביער בסדרת בדים טבעיים מקורים בעיצובה. אפרתי יצרה בדי משי, פשתן וכותנה מצוירים בפיגמנטים מצמחיית היער שמיוצרים באופן אקסלוסיבי באיטליה. בסטודיו בתל אביב, אילנה יצרה מהבדים אוסף בגדים יוצא דופן, שמשקף תהליכי עיצוב איטיים והוליסטיים ורעיונות על חשיבות הקראפט ועבודת יד מומחית.
הבגדים החדשים מזמינים את הלקוחה ללבוש את היער: זו הקשבה דמיונית לרישרוש העלים הנופלים ברכות על ריצפת היער ונערמים לשכבה צבעונית זהובה. הצבעים היחודיים של הצמחים ביער מכתימים את הבד באופן חד פעמי. כל אחד מהבדים משקף יום במחזוריות העונות האינסופית בטבע.

באוסף הבדים מספר הדפסים שונים שניתן לערבב וללבוש יחד או בשילוב בדים חלקים או ארוגים בדוגמת פסים.
החזרה אל היער היא בחירה אסתטית וגם אתית עבור המעצבת. תעשיית האופנה המהירה אחראית לזיהום הטבע. לכן, היא מציעה לחשוב מחדש על הבגדים שאנחנו לובשים בהתחשבות בעונות השנה בטבע: לקנות פחות ולהתמקד בחומרים טבעיים ומתכלים, שאינם מזהמים את הסביבה.
Designer Ilana Efrati offers a unique experience of an imaginary stroll in the forest through a series of original natural fabrics she designed. Efrati created silk, cotton and linen textiles, that are painted with pigments made of forest plants and produces exclusively for Ilana Efrati in Italy. And then, in her studio in Tel Aviv, Efrati transformed the clothes into an exceptional garments collection, that reflects slow and holistic design processes and ideas about the importance of craft and expert know-how.
The new garments invite to wear the forest: it’s an imaginary listening to the crumbling leaves falling slowly on the forest floor, and piling up to a colourful golden mount. The unique colours of the forest plants stain the fabrics in an unrepeatable manner, and thus each of the fabrics reflects a day in the eternal natural cycle of seasons in nature. The cuts in the new collection are soft and comfortable, between loose collarless dresses and long silk satin caftans. In the collection, there are various prints that can be worn together in a personal mix and match, alongside striped fabrics.
The return to the forest is for the designer an ethical and aesthetic choice. The fast fashion industry is responsible for global environmental pollution. Therefore, Efrati invites to reconsider our impact on nature, and dress according to the season: buy less, and focus on natural recyclable materials that do not pollute the environment.
