שגריר איטליה בישראל, פרנצ'סקו טאלו, העניק את תואר אבירת מסדר הכוכב האיטלקי לאילנה אפרתי בטקס במכון התרבות האיטלקי בתל אביב. התואר הוענק לאפרתי על תרומתה לקירוב יחסי התרבות בין איטליה וישראל.
